Will my package successfully deliever to North American Addresses?

To be clear, SCM does not anticipate any future problems with shipping. ALL North American countries can expect to receive orders.
Your package will be labeled as a 3D printed model. If your package is confiscated, please provide proof of consfiscation by replying to your order confirmation email. Snow Cap Mods will refund 50% of your total purchase.
How do I place an order and what is the process?
Orders are taken through a typical web store. SCM offers over 200 possible color combinations. Using the web store, you are able to enter in your color choices. The “base color” is the color of the printed nylon material. Currently, only white and black are available for base coloring. If you choose matte black, the mod will have a nice 3d printed nylon feel. Matte or solid white are NOT available as it does not wear well. White base + color is fine to order and wears well over time.
Additionally, you can choose either 1 or 2 paint colors. These colors are applied, and then sealed with an automotive grade clear coat for added toughness. Painted mods do not have the same feel as matte black, but the mod will still retain some texture of a 3D printed mod. If you are not sure about coloring, please be sure to check out the coloring options.
Processing will take 5-7 days to complete, as the owner of the company will be the one person to paint and/or hand-assemble your order. Then add 10-12 days for shipping. Generally, you should expect to receive your order within 3 weeks. Mods can be shipped anywhere in the world.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Under normal circumstances, you can expect to receive your mod in 3 weeks or less; often receipt can be had in 2 weeks. Production of your order will take 5-7 days, and then 7-12 days for shipping.
Do you ship to my country?
Snow Cap Mods will ship anywhere in the world. At the time of this writing, SCM products are in 18 countries and counting. We use a 3rd party shipping forwarder to send packages. This company has agreements with several high quality international couriers, which allows us to send orders to any location. SCM will choose the courier that best suits the situation. Currently, the majority of shipments go through SF Express and TNT (a subsidiary of FedEx). SCM has had excellent and fast service from both courier companies.

Why pay $30 for shipping?
SCM products and service are designed to offer the full value of cost + shipping to customer. The combination of high value for money products, customization, responsive customer service, and fast turn around time are all intended to provide the value of the total cost of your purchase, not just the revenue that SCM receives. Shipping is also quite fast for international couriers at 10-12 days.
Many customers choose to maximize shipping costs by purchasing more than one product.

Is Snow Cap Mods a Chinese company?
Snow Cap Mods is owned and operated by one American man in Shanghai, China. He personally designs, inspects, quality controls, assembles, markets, and provides customer service. SCM is internally American and geographically Chinese.
Why copper contacts?
Copper is an essential component of Snow Caps Mods’ mission to bring high value for money mods to the market at less than $100usd.
Copper is the 2nd most conductive metal, with silver being approximately 5% more conductive. Copper offers several other benefits at a fraction of the cost of silver. Copper retains its shape much better than silver and requires less fiddling. Copper is also suitable for laser cutting, which reduces production time and cost. Copper is readily available and essential to SCMs ability to always have mods available for sale.
There are several SCM customers who have spent considerable time and money converting the internals of their mods to silver. They report that they do notice a slight increase in performance starting at roughly 0.12ohms and below, but ultimately do not feel the benefits are worth converting their other SCM mods to silver.
Can you design a one-off mod or modify an existing design?
SCM does not currently offer these services. The only customization possible is coloring.
One exception is adding a company logo on bulk orders. These are taken on a case by case basis.
